Pro Hockey Life

The air was bitter cold as I stepped tentatively on the treacherous, ice-covered sidewalk. I steadied myself in a clumsy, jerking motion. "I hope he appreciates this," I grumbled. I was shopping for the one gift he wanted and I needed to brave the blizzard in order to pick it up. Snow blinded me and I ducked my head as the heavy flakes pelted my winter hat. I opened the door to the old shop at the end of the street. I hadn't really noticed it before, but he had said what he wanted most was inside this dilapidated building. The bell on the door tinkled as I yanked it open. What I found inside was almost indescribable.

It looked like it was really small but all I could see for miles was hockey equipment, sticks, gloves and even a shooting gallery.

A little man walked up to me and said, "Welcome to Pro Hockey Life. how can I be of service today?"

I said, " Is this real?"

The man replied saying, "What do you mean young man?"

"This is a real store right?" I asked.

"Why yes it is sir," he said.

"This is awesome," I hollered.

"What can I pick out for you today?"

"A pair of One95 elbow pads," I said.

"Ahhhh excellent choice," he said.

As we walked over to the section I saw a stick that really popped out at me. It was the X:60 grip version.

I said, "If I buy one of this I will snipe the night away."

"I thought that would stand out to you," he said.

I grabed one and ran to the shooting gallery and started shooting.

"My accuracy is 99%," I shouted.

We started to walk to the elbow pads as fast as I could. Then as i picked them out I gust knew he would love his elbow pads and I would love the stick.

Volleyball Team

Our volleyball team is very good this year. Carter
is one of our best setters. the other setter is

Kyle but he broke his wrist. Wyatt Kalynuk is a
very good passer and he can hit the ball very

well. Tyler, Nathen and me can pass okay as well.
The other team is the same as us . This season
we will be able to spike it on grade 7's. That is

what last years grade 8's did to us. this is going
to be a good season.

Bringing an object to life

If I could bring an item to life it would be the Olympic gold medal game puck.

me- So, puck what was it like to be the game winning piece of rubber.

puck-Well I just was so happy to be in the Olympics but I it was overwhelming.

me-Was it cool to in the back of the net.

puck- Yes it was cool, when Miller was so mad it was funny.

me-Was it a good connection between you and Crosby's stick.

puck- Yes it was because it is a dirty curve.

me-Are you chiped up at all.

puck-No I am not.

me-what are you doing?

puck-I'm rolling away.

Animal Instinct

I'm a wildcat because I am fearless, outgoing and I
attack tasks head on. I am very energetic just as
the wildcat. I move as the wild cat low and slow. I
look like the wildcat because I am very scary
looking. The wildcat is athletic as I am too. that is
why I am the wildcat.

If you remember, they signed Joel Perrault and Jeff Tambellini as free agents this summer and

then placed on waivers earlier this week. Both cleared waivers – Perrault yesterday and

Tambellini this morning.
